We work with children. This page sets out the rules we hold ourselves to, so a guardian knows what they are agreeing to and so anyone can hold us to them.
Written authorisation first. We publish no photograph, video or recording of a participant without authorisation signed by their parent or guardian. It is signed before the first session, not after the first photograph.
It can be withdrawn. A guardian can withdraw that authorisation at any time, without giving a reason. When they do, we remove the material from our channels.
What we never publish. Full names, school, neighbourhood, address, or anything else that would locate a child. Nor any information about their medical, legal or family circumstances. When we name a participant we use a first name only.
How we talk about them. They are children, students and participants. We do not present them as cases, we do not tell their stories to provoke pity, and we do not publish images that place them in an undignified position. What they achieve is theirs.
About the photographs on this site today. They are freely licensed stock images and none of them shows a programme participant. They are here until we have photography of our own. When we do, we will replace them, and only with signed authorisations in place.
Adults in sessions. Participants are accompanied by programme adults during transport and throughout each session. The padel coaches are certified and are part of the partner club's staff.
If something worries you. If you see anything on this site or our channels that you believe breaks these rules, write to the contact address and we will look into it.
