The programme has not started and has no results of its own. It has a documented problem, evidence on structured sport, comparable programmes running for years, and a public list of what we will measure.
Kennedy is one of the districts of Bogotá worst affected by domestic violence, it concentrates several drug-dealing points, and criminal structures that recruit minors operate there.
On top of that sits the simplest problem of all: when school ends, many young people find nothing. No training, no sport, and no adult available.

The evidence is consistent across three fronts. Academically, children who play sport regularly repeat fewer years and drop out less. In mental health, sport reduces anxiety and depression. On employability, UNESCO finds that it develops self-confidence, resilience and leadership.
The qualification matters: unstructured recreational sport does not produce those results. Sustained commitment and excellence as a real goal do. That is why this is designed as intensive training rather than as recreation.
Results achieved by other organisations, credited to them. None of these are ours.

None of this is a result. These are commitments published before the programme starts, each with the figure it will be measured against. A promise someone can hold you to is worth more than an adjective.
| Indicator | How it is measured | Compared against |
|---|---|---|
| Staying in school | Enrolment and withdrawal records, participant by participant, across the full year. | The participants' dropout rate against their school's average. |
| Academic performance | Term-by-term grades and results in the national Saber tests. | The participant's own grades on entry, and their class average. |
| Social and emotional wellbeing | Psychometric assessment on entry and at regular intervals, followed up by the programme's psychologist. | Each participant's own baseline measurement. |
| Progress in the sport | Technical assessment by the coaches, plus participation in federated tournaments. | The technical level recorded at the start. |
| English level | A diagnostic on entry, periodic assessments, and a final assessment for each curriculum level. | Each participant's entry diagnostic. |
| Attendance | A daily register across the four weekly sessions. | The stated target of sustained attendance across the whole cycle. |
